Cold Ones
The story behind Cold Ones - 4 struggling college students who decide to start a mom & pop ice cream shop called “Cold Ones”. Initial plan was to gather up enough money to make our college tuition. As college students, we started this ice cream shop because our common hobbies are to crack open cold ones with friends and eat ice cream.
Our mission is to be the number one specialized alcoholic ice cream shop for college towns. Our initial goal is to fundraise enough money for our college tuition, but eventually franchise this company for college towns around America.
Logo Guidelines
Color Use
Blue is associated with qualities like trustworthiness, reliability, and dependability. Blue is a versatile color that can be easily combined with other colors to create different effects and moods. Pairing blue with contrasting colors such as pink can create dynamic and eye-catching designs. Pink can also convey a sense of youthfulness, playfulness, and fun. Yellow is one of the most attention-grabbing colors due to its brightness. It can easily stand out against other colors, making it a good choice for logos that need to catch the eye and make a strong visual impact.
Single Ink Use
Single ink logos are versatile and can be applied across a wide range of materials and surfaces, including paper, cardboard, fabric, and merchandise. Single ink can also have accessibility purposes, using a single ink logo can ensure that the design remains clear and legible for individuals with color vision deficiencies
Incorrect Use
Complex logos with intricate details or too many elements can become visually cluttered and difficult to reproduce at smaller sizes. They may also lose clarity and impact when viewed from a distance or in digital formats. A logo should be adaptable enough to work effectively in various contexts and applications, from digital platforms to print materials and merchandise.
Don’t stretch or distort the logo. Changing the proportions of a logo can distort its design elements and make it appear unprofessional. Always maintain the original aspect ratio.
Avoid overcrowding! Adding too much detail or text around the logo can clutter its design and reduce its impact. Keep the surrounding space clean to ensure visibility and recognition.
Avoid unauthorized alterations. Modifying a logo without proper authorization from the brand owner can lead to legal issues and damage the brand’s reputation.
